Originally from Southern Indiana, Dr. Smith now considers himself a true northerner. He completed a liberal arts degree at Franklin College graduating summa cum laude. He graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society in 2003. He completed ocular disease internships at the American Eye Institute and with Dr. Bradley Black M.D. He practiced with therapeutic privileges for two years in Indiana. Dr. Smith is also board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. He welcomes the challenge of complicated contact lens fittings. He treasures moments with his wife, Karen and daughter, Ella. He enjoys playing and watching basketball, fishing and spending time at the family cottage. |
