Toric contact lenses are designed to correct astigmatism. So now, the vast majority of patients with astigmatism are able to enjoy clear, comfortable vision with contact lenses. Toric lenses are weighted at the bottom portion so they remain stable when you blink. Gravity keeps the bottom edge of the lens where it should be. This allows for clear vision.
