Dr. Smith completed a Bachelor of Science at Queen's University. She graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society in 2003. While training, she was an assistant instructor in diagnostic procedures. She completed an internship specializing in eye diseases at Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers and a pediatric internship at the Vision Institute of Canada. She enjoys providing complete family eye care and sees patients of all ages. She consistently takes more continuing education than required to remain current in her field. She is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and practiced with therapeutic privileges for two years in Indiana. She happily returned home with Ben to join her father's practice because she enjoys the quality of life in Northern Ontario. She loves to cook, and relax at the cottage with her family.
